AI Engineer vacancy Breda / Etten-Leur (PHP / Symfony / Vue)

Full-time · 32-40 hours Etten-Leur · hybrid €3,000 - €5,000 per month

You'll build our tracking systems (TMS, WMS) and private AI platforms in PHP/Symfony, with Claude Code in the daily mix. No odd jobs: you own features end-to-end and your choices land directly with clients that together run 75,000+ shipments a day.

What you'll do

Build features end-to-end in PHP/Symfony, from database to API
Help shape the architecture of our TMS and WMS tracking systems
Build screens in Vue 3 with PrimeVue, from form to dashboard
Use AI in your workflow and in the stack (RAG, embeddings)
Review code and keep the team sharp

What you bring

1-3 years of PHP/Symfony in production (medior, no senior required)
Claude Code, Cursor or equivalent as a daily tool
Curious about RAG and embeddings, or willing to learn fast
Vue 3 and PrimeVue on the front end, or willing to pick that up fast
Plus: Python for the AI side

AI tools and prompting are not a nice-to-have but a must. Everyone on our team works with AI daily.

Is this a senior role?

No. We're deliberately looking for a medior with 1-3 years of experience who wants to grow, not a senior. You get room and guidance to get better faster.

Do I work on-site or hybrid?

Hybrid. Our office is on the Bredaseweg in Etten-Leur, ten minutes from Breda. A few days together at the office, the rest flexible.

What stack will I work with?

PHP 8.4 and Symfony 7 as the base, Vue 3 with PrimeVue on the front end and our own AI/LLM cluster (128GB VRAM, NL-hosted) for the RAG pipelines. You use AI tooling like Claude Code daily.
